2022 Reserved Pit Parking Renewals

2022 Reserved Pit Parking Renewals are now open. If you had a spot in 2021 you have the first right of refusal for that spot in 2022. If you would like to change from your 2021 spot to a different pit spot in 2022 that spot must be open, or you can get on the waiting list for non-renewed pit spots.

Racers have until February 21st to renew their Reserved Pit Spot for 2022. On February 22nd all non-renewed spots will be open to the public.

This year the price will be $200 per spot for the 2022 JEGS ET Series.

2021Pro Champion Tyler Underwood

This season the JEGS ET Series Pro class had one of the closest championship points races in the last few years.  The championship came down to the final day of the season between former champion Scott Weisend and newcomer Tyler Underwood.  After the dust settled on that final day, it was Tyler Underwood taking home his first ever National Trail Raceway championship.

2022 Chassis Inspection Dates

NHRA Chassis Inspection Day will be Saturday and Sunday April 2nd & 3rd at Coughlin GM/Chevrolet in Newark.

You must RSVP with the National Trail Raceway office at 740-928-5706.

We will be scheduling appointments every 20 mins starting at 9 am. So make sure you RSVP so we can put you on the schedule.

**If we fill all spots for Saturday, April 2nd, then we will start booking times for Sunday, April 3rd.***

2021 Jr. Storm Champion Camden Clark

The JEGS.com Jr. Storm class is for kids aged 6 to 9 years old and features the youngest drivers in NHRA competition.  This season the Jr. Storm class saw six different winners over the course of the 13 race series.  The points championship came down to the final race of the season between second year racer, Camden Clark and rookie, Gracin Fields.  Once the points were tallied it was Camden Clark winning the Jr. Thunder championship.

2021 Sportsman Champion Dana Thompson

In 2021, the JEGS ET Series Sportsman class saw a classic points battle featuring a veteran versus a rookie.  It was veteran Dana Thompson, a multi-time Sportsman Champion, dueling all season long with rookie, Hunter Wolfe, the defending Division 3 High School Champion.  The championship came down to the final day of the season with Dana Thompson taking home the JEGS ET Series Sportsman Championship.

2021 Jr. Thunder Champion Frank Tanzillo

The JEGS.com Jr. Dragster Series features some of the best young racers in the Central Ohio area and this past year the Jr. Thunder class showcased some of that talent.  With the likes of Ava Dutton, Kyndal Wolfe, Riley Goodin and Frank Tanzillo chasing the 2021 points championship.  When all the points were calculated it was Frank Tanzillo taking home the championship.

2021 Super Pro Champion Michael Needham

The Super Pro championship in the JEGS ET Series is always a highly contested battle between some of the best top bulb racers in Ohio.  Ove the past few seasons the points have come to the final days of the season with everyone waiting to see who comes out on top.  This year was no different, this year it came down to the dragster of Michael Needham and the door car of defending champion Scott Hessler.  At the end of the final day of JEGS ET Series, it was Michael Needham sitting at the top of the Super Pro points sheet.
