2024 Schedule!!

We are excited to announce the 2024 National Trail Raceway drag racing schedule.  Next season is shaping up to be another great year for racers in Central Ohio.

We will be kicking off the Season with King of Columbus NO PREP on Saturday April 13th, it will be the first event of the year!  We will also have a brand-new King of Columbus PREPPED event on Saturday, September 7th.

New VIP Tickets for the 2024 Night of the Thunder!!! These tickets are very limited and will sell out fast! The VIP Tickets include Admission, Suite Access, Starting Line Access (must be over 18 years to go to the starting line), Inside Parking, Snacks and Pepsi Products in the Suite) all for $80 per ticket!

This year the JEGS ET Series Sportsman class featured a first-time track champion.  The Sportsman class features racers from as young as 16 to racers in their late 70’s as it really is one of the most diverse classes at National Trail Raceway.  When the dust settled at the end of the season, it was Dustin Goodin and his 1979 Dodge Aspen holding the championship trophy.

The 2023 JEGS.com Jr. Dragster Racing Series Jr. Lightning class is always one of the most competitive classes that races at National Trail Raceway.  This year was no different, with so many of the racers competing in their final season of Jr. Dragsters, it came down to the final event of the season for the Championship to be decided.  After the last points were tallied it was Zane Sheets putting his name on the championship trophy!

The Annual Halloween Hootout will be held October 11-13! This event is one that everyone loves, with some of the best bracket racing in Ohio, to the Trick or Treating, to the costume Contest, to the Saturday Night party.  This event will feature Friday Night Hootout Shootouts and racing Saturday and Sunday in Box, No Box, Jr. Dragsters and Motorcycles.

The NHRA Division 3 ET Finals are moving to Summit Motorsports Park on September 11-15.

Racers in the JEGS ET Series will qualify to represent National Trail Raceway and compete at the event on Sept. The race winners will advance to the NHRA Nevada Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway to race toward a world championship.

We are pleased to announce that the Annual Night of Thunder will be taking place on Saturday Night, June 22, 2024!

The event will feature Jet Dragsters, Jet Funny Cars, Scott Rods AA/Gassers and the Bone Shaker Jet Semi-Truck!! And more!!!

Thursday Parking from 5 pm to 9 pm.  If you get here after 9 pm you can come in the gate behind the tower and our overnight security will let you in and you will be given a receipt that you have to take to the front gate in the morning.
