National Trail Raceway

The Super Pro class at National Trail Raceway is one of the toughest classes in the JEGS ET Series.  Racers come from all over to compete, making it hard to get a round win, let alone win a race or win a championship.  This year was no different as Mitch Rowe contended with the best of the best at Trails all season long to be crowned the champion.

Mitch started the season out on a high point as he raced his way to the Winner’s Circle at the first event of the season.  The following races Mitch had some early round losses which caused him to drop down in the points as the season progressed into summer. At midseason, Mitch’s luck turned around and he put together a semi-final and a ¼ final finishes to climb back into the race for the championship. During the final event before the bracket finals, he was able to rack up 70 points putting him in 1st place and the chance to compete in the Race of Champions at the ET Finals. At the second to last points race, Mitch had to buyback after his 1st round loss but with the help of his Back-up-girl Jon Beasley to keep the pressure off his mind, Mitch was able to runner-up and clinch the championship.

“This championship means the world to me as the racers in Super Pro at Trails are some of the toughest and there are never any easy rounds.  Competing in the Race of Champions at the ET Finals was a great experience to make this season one to always remember,” said a very happy Mitch Rowe. “I want to thank my wife Amber, my son Camden, my daughters Avery, and Elayna for all their love and support. I also want to thank my sponsors Stilwell Farms, Sunoco Race Fuels, Performance Clinic, Webb’s Transmission and Matco Tools for their support.”

Next year Mitch wants to get back to the basics of having fun and enjoy racing with friends and family.  He also wants to help his son Camden make the top 3 and of course make a run for another Super Pro championship.

Congrats to Mitch Rowe the 2024 JEGS ET Series Super Pro Champion!
