This season the JEGS ET Series Pro class saw one of the best bottom bulbers in the country put his name on the championship trophy.  Edmond Ellison came, he saw, he conquered.  It will go down as one of the toughest Pro seasons in recent history, it was Edmond that was victorious at the end.

Racing this past year took on a special meaning for Edmond and the entire Ellison family and friends, after Edmond’s dad, Boomer’s passing in November 2023, this season Edmond wanted to win the championship in his honor.  Edmond’s season started well with a win, a runner-up and semi-final finish in the first 3 races of the season.  In July Edmond missed an event, his brother Caleb went to the final of that event and tightened the points up a little.  Edmond rolled in the next day and won the race putting the points championship back into his hands.  He would go on and win the following weekend as well to extend his points lead.  Edmond would miss the next points race, as he and his new wife Jessica welcomed their daughter Isla into the world.  Going into the final weekend of points Edmond’s little brother Caleb had an outside chance at the championship but it was Edmond taking home this championship in the end.

“Honestly this year has been a whirlwind, from the passing to my dad, to getting married and welcoming our first child and that is just the personal life.  On track I couldn’t have asked for a better year, the competition at Trails is so tough and to be able to lift the championship trophy means so much to me.  You have to be on your game all day long from the morning to the night and work on your tune up to get the car to repeat all day long,” said a humble Edmond. “I want to thank my wife Jessica, my daughter Isla, my mom Sherri, my brother Caleb, my sister Kenzi and my brother-in-law Mikey, their love and support means the world to me.  I also want to thank my sponsors FTI Performance and Hoosier Tire (Lucas Walker) for their support.”

Edmond’s plans for the 2025 season are chasing another championship and more appearances at big money bottom bulb events.  He would also like to put it out there that he is open to running for a Stock Eliminator World Championship so if you have an open seat give him a call.

Congrats to Edmond Ellison the 2024 JEGS ET Series Pro Champion.
