Hunter Wolfe entered the 2021 JEGS ET Series season as the reigning Division 3 High School Champion but still wanted to win more trophies.  The young man from Lancaster wanted to put his name on the JEG ET Series High School Championship trophy and that is exactly what he did this season.

The 2nd year High School racer and his ’92 S-10 had a good solid 2021 season.  Hunter started the year with a 2nd round lost when the race was shortened by rain.  The next two events unfortunately didn’t go as planned for the young man, as he lost 1st round at both events.  On July 31st though, Hunter went to the final round where he scored a runner-up, and he was able to get some momentum on his side.  At the next race on August 21st, Hunter parked his truck in the Winner’s Circle, and he took home the points lead.  Going into the final race of the season, the championship came down to Kendylle Brown and Hunter Wolfe.  Only one would win the JEGS ET Series High School Championship.  Hunter won first round and in the next pair Kendylle lost.  Meaning Hunter was the 2021 High School Champion.

“What can I say this year was a lot of fun.  Winning the High School Championship was a great accomplishment this year, I am so thankful for everyone that helped me through all the ups and downs.  I know my grandfather who is no longer with us would be proud of me,” said Hunter.  “I need to thank my dad Larry, my mom Penny, my sister Kyndal and my grandma for all of their love and support.  Also, without the help of my sponsors Duncan Performance Fuels, Schaeffer’s Oil, Matco Tools and Wolfe’s Powder Coating.”

Next year Hunter plans on making a run at the Sportsman championship again and also hitting some of the bigger No Box races around the area.
