Quick 16 Series powered by Performance Clinic

We are proud to announce the change from Super 32 to the new Quick 16 Series powered by Performance Clinic. The class will pit the quickest 8 Doorcars and the quickest 8 Dragsters. The Quick 16 final will be Doorcar vs Dragster match-up as it has been in years past. This class will still run on a .500 Full Tree, handicap start using CrossTalk.
“On behalf of my family here at Performance Clinic, we are thrilled and excited to be part of this new Quick 16 Series format at National Trail Raceway. For years the Midwest has been a hot bed for fast cars and great quick events, and Ohio is no exception. The facility is top notch, and we know Jay and Jason will do everything they can to provide our racers with a safe, fast track to run on,” said Dave Middleton Owner of Performance Clinic Custom Engines.
One of the biggest changes for the Quick 16 Series powered by Performance Clinic is the entry fee and payout structure.
The entry fee will be $150 (driver and 2 Single Day crew passes).
The payout will be as follows:
Win $1200
R/U $1000
Semi $400
1/4 $100
Another change for the Quick 16 will be that the series will be scheduled for Saturdays with Sundays being the rain date for each event. There will be 6 scheduled events with a racer’s 5 best finishes counting towards their championship points total.
Here is the schedule for the Quick 16 class:
May 2
May 23
June 6
June 20
August 22
October 3
There will be 2 scheduled qualifying sessions for the Quick 16 Series powered by Performance Clinic. Non-Qualifiers will be able to drop into Super Pro. If a racer breaks before 1st round, we will allow alternates to take their place.
“Another cool thing Performance Clinic offers is a contingency program for their racers. All six of the National Trail Quick 16 Series Powered by Performance Clinic Custom Engines are eligible for Performance Clinic’s contingency program, along with any and all local events, NHRA divisionals, PDRA events, and so on. Any racer who has a Performance Clinic- built engine will receive $100 for every event win and $50 for every event runner-up. This contingency program is good for all of our teammates, no matter what class they run, or where they chose to race,” said Ryan Burba
